Buying a car in Summit

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first.

Why rent first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

What to check before you buy

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

A car meanwhile

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Distance, honestly

There is no CarmaCars location in Summit; everything we do starts in Toronto. Measured in a straight line, Summit is about 1,160 km from our location in Toronto; we deliver within about 250 km.

For buying in Summit, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Summit if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
