Buying the Hyundai Stellar
No Hyundai Stellar is for sale by CarmaCars at the moment; this page helps you judge the car before you buy one elsewhere. Thinking about the Hyundai Stellar? Here are the numbers in plain words and what to check.
A buyer's checks
Ask for the service records and check open recalls by the VIN. A pre-purchase inspection at a shop you choose is money well spent. A private seller in Ontario must give you a Used Vehicle Information Package. Look at the tires, brakes and battery; they are costly to replace.
What the figures tell you
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
The Stellar in everyday use
Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.
A good match for
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Rent it for a week first
Rent first, buy later: a week with the Stellar answers the big questions. Rent the Stellar for a week and see how it fits your life. Renting first costs a fraction of the price of buying the wrong car.
The cost of driving it
Ask what a set of tires costs for this trim; sizes and prices vary. Get an insurance quote for this exact model before you buy; rates differ a lot between models.
Choosing the right one
If you are unsure between two options, rent one of them for a week first. Set a budget that includes tax, licensing, insurance and the first set of tires. Compare the years of the Stellar: fuel use and trims change from one to the next.
Make a request
Want to try before you buy? Ask for your dates.
Rent it for a week before you buy
A week of your own driving tells you more than a test drive: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Rent a Hyundai Stellar from us first.
Find me this car
Tell us your budget and when you want to buy; we look for a Hyundai Stellar for you and reply within one business day.
Buying the Hyundai Stellar
Does CarmaCars sell the Hyundai Stellar?
Not right now. CarmaCars rents cars; it sells one only now and then. Tell us what you want and we look for one, or rent one for a week first.
Can I rent a Hyundai Stellar before I buy one?
Yes. Request it for a week (or longer, up to 365 days) and drive it as your own; nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.
Where do the figures come from?
Fuel use and fuel cost from the US EPA (fueleconomy.gov), dimensions and weight from NHTSA vPIC Canadian specifications, recalls and complaints from NHTSA. We leave out any figure no free source publishes.
