Lease a Car in Reader, AR

Before you buy in Reader

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. A lease takeover or a new lease takes time to arrange; a monthly rental can cover that time. A lease ties you to years of payments; a monthly rental can stop at the end of any booking, with no buyout.

Drive it like you own it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

What to check before you buy

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Between cars

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

Renting from Toronto

We are based in Toronto; Reader is not somewhere we have a location. Reader is about 1,632 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Reader, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are unsure whether we can help with Reader, ask; we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
