Lease Takeover in Bison, SD

Lease Takeover: what CarmaCars does

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Leasing companies and dealers offer leases; CarmaCars does not, but a monthly rental needs no long commitment. A lease ties you to years of payments; a monthly rental can stop at the end of any booking, with no buyout.

Rent it before you buy it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Checks worth doing

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Bridging the gap

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Before you plan

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Bison. The straight-line distance from our location in Toronto to Bison is about 1,839 km, and we deliver within about 250 km.

Shopping in Bison? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Bison if you like. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
