Lease Takeover in Cuney, TX

Before you buy in Cuney

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. A lease takeover or a new lease takes time to arrange; a monthly rental can cover that time. Leasing companies and dealers offer leases; CarmaCars does not, but a monthly rental needs no long commitment.

Drive it like you own it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Before your next car arrives

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.
