Lease Takeover in Eclipse, TX

Lease Takeover: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. A lease ties you to years of payments; a monthly rental can stop at the end of any booking, with no buyout. Leasing companies and dealers offer leases; CarmaCars does not, but a monthly rental needs no long commitment.

A test drive that lasts

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Before you sign

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Bridging the gap

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

What CarmaCars covers

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Eclipse. By straight line Eclipse is about 1,925 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Still have a question about Eclipse? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
