Lease Takeover in Scuffleton, NC

Lease Takeover: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. A lease ties you to years of payments; a monthly rental can stop at the end of any booking, with no buyout. Leasing companies and dealers offer leases; CarmaCars does not, but a monthly rental needs no long commitment.

Rent it before you buy it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

What to check before you buy

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
