Lease Takeover in Shell, AL

Shopping for a car in Shell

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. We do not lease cars. A monthly rental has no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days, and you can stop at the end of any of them. A lease ties you to years of payments; a monthly rental can stop at the end of any booking, with no buyout.

Why rent first

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Questions to ask

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Between cars

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Need something in Shell?
