Trade In in Baxter, CA

Trade In: what CarmaCars does

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

A buyer's checklist

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
