Buying a car in Bem

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Why rent first

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Before you sign

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

Bridging the gap

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars is not in Bem. Our one location is in Toronto. About 1,190 km from our location in Toronto, Bem is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

Shopping in Bem? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Ask us about Bem in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

One more step

Ask about renting first, and buy with a clear head.
