Buying a car in Box Elder

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Drive it like you own it

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Questions to ask

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Between cars

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
