Trade In: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Rent it before you buy it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Before you sign

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

A car meanwhile

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.
