Trade In in Cliffs, ID

Before you buy in Cliffs

If you are looking for a way to sell or trade your car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Why rent first

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

What to check before you buy

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Before your next car arrives

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
