Buying a car in Comet

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Try it for a week first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Before you sign

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

A car meanwhile

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

Where we work

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Comet. Comet is about 2,582 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.
