Trade In: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Why rent first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Checks worth doing

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Between cars

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

What we cover

We do not have a location in Dalbys; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. The distance is about 777 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Dalbys? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Tell us what you are planning in Dalbys, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
