Buying a car in Devine

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Drive it like you own it

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Questions to ask

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

While you shop

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
