Trade In in Dicus

If you are looking for a way to sell or trade your car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Try it for a week first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
