Trade In for Dixie

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Questions to ask

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

Bridging the gap

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Honest about Dixie

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Dixie is outside our area. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Dixie is about 1,465 km away.

For buying in Dixie, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Ask us about Dixie in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
