Trade In in Echo

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Try it for a week first

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

What to check before you buy

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Bridging the gap

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
