Buying a car in Flat River

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Try it for a week first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

A buyer's checklist

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

While you shop

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.

Reach and distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Flat River. About 1,151 km in a straight line separate Flat River from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Flat River? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Send a request with what you need in Flat River, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
