Trade In in Gresham

Trade In in Gresham: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them, but we can still be useful. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Why rent first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Questions to ask

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Before your next car arrives

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
