Trade In for Halstead

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Rent it before you buy it

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Checks worth doing

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

While you shop

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Distance, honestly

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Halstead; we work from Toronto. Measured in a straight line, Halstead is about 1,488 km from our location in Toronto; we deliver within about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Halstead? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Need something in Halstead?
