Trade In in Hampton, NB

Before you buy in Hampton

Shopping for a car in Hampton? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Drive it like you own it

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Questions to ask

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Bridging the gap

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.
