Trade In for Heimforth

Trade In in Heimforth: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them, but we can still be useful. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Try it for a week first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Before you sign

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Between cars

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.
