Shopping for a car in Hillside

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Why rent first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

A buyer's checklist

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Before you plan

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Hillside. By straight line Hillside is about 1,522 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. For buying in Hillside, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are unsure whether we can help with Hillside, ask; we answer plainly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
