Trade In: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Why rent first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Questions to ask

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

While you shop

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.

What we cover

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Immer is outside our area. The distance is about 910 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 80 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Send a request about Immer, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
