Trade In: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

A test drive that lasts

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

What to check before you buy

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Bridging the gap

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

Toronto based

Our only location is in Toronto; Interior is outside the area we serve. The straight-line distance from central Toronto to Interior is about 1,812 km, and we deliver within about 80 km.

Shopping in Interior? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Ask us about Interior in a request; a person answers honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
