Trade In: what CarmaCars does

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

A test drive that lasts

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Our cars reach Java Village by delivery, or you collect one from us in Toronto for free.

Questions to ask

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

Between cars

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
