Trade In in Lance

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Why rent first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Buying smart in Ontario

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.

Where we work

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Lance is outside our area. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Lance is about 1,165 km away.

Shopping in Lance? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Ask us about Lance in a request; a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
