Trade In in L'Assomption, QC

Before you buy in L'Assomption

If you are looking for a way to sell or trade your car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Why rent first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Buying smart in Ontario

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Before your next car arrives

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
