Trade In in Maplehurst, NB

Buying a car in Maplehurst

People searching for trade in sometimes find us. We are a rental company, and here is how that helps. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Questions to ask

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Bridging the gap

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
