Buying a car in McGee

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Try it for a week first

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

A buyer's checklist

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

While you shop

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Toronto based

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in McGee? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Questions about McGee? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
