Trade In in Micro

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

A test drive that lasts

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

A buyer's checklist

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.
