Buying a car in Milligans

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Drive it like you own it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

What to check before you buy

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.
