Trade In: what CarmaCars does

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Rent it before you buy it

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Buying smart in Ontario

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Between cars

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Before you plan

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Mispec. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Mispec is about 1,068 km away.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Mispec, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Send a request with what you need in Mispec, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

When you know your dates

A rental request is free; the offer shows the full price.
