Trade In in Murphys, CA

Trade In for Murphys

If you are looking for a way to sell or trade your car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Why rent first

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Before you sign

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

A car meanwhile

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
