If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

A buyer's checklist

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Bridging the gap

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

A note on distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Opal. At roughly 1,836 km from central Toronto in a straight line, Opal is outside our delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you need in Opal, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
