Shopping for a car in Plummer

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Why rent first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

What to check before you buy

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

Between cars

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

The short answer for Plummer

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Plummer; we work from Toronto. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Plummer is about 2,928 km out.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Plummer? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Send a request about Plummer, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
