Trade In: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Try it for a week first

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Toronto based

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Quick. By straight line Quick is about 625 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Shopping in Quick? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Unsure? Send a request about Quick, and we answer plainly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
