Trade In in Simms

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Try it for a week first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Before you sign

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

A car meanwhile

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
