Trade In: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Try it for a week first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Before you sign

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

While you shop

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Where we deliver

Our only location is in Toronto; Splinter is outside the area we serve. Splinter is about 1,367 km from central Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 80 km we deliver to.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For anything about Splinter, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
