Buying a car in Sutherland

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

What to check before you buy

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Between cars

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Our area and Sutherland

CarmaCars has no branch in Sutherland. We rent from one location in Toronto. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Sutherland, about 1,327 km away, is beyond that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Tell us what you need in Sutherland, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
