Trade In in Tranquility, NC

Shopping for a car in Tranquility

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Try it for a week first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Questions to ask

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Bridging the gap

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
