Buying a car in Unity

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

A test drive that lasts

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Checks worth doing

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

A car meanwhile

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Unity. Unity lies about 365 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Unity, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
