Car Rental in Albert, explained

Albert is outside Toronto but inside our delivery area, so CarmaCars can bring a car to you. For this kind of rental: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. You can compare rates car by car before you ask for anything.

Delivery and pickup

We bring cars to addresses in Albert, about 182 km from our location in Toronto. Delivery and return pickup are priced in your offer, by distance.

Collection at our location costs nothing. We meet you, check the paperwork, and look over the car with you. We can bring the car to Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, priced in your offer.

Drives worth the kilometres

For the gorge and the village, Elora is about 110 km away by road. Or try Blue Mountain, about 160 km, for skiing in winter and the village in summer. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones. Trips into the United States need our written consent before you go.

Reasons people rent from us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions.

Albert and nearby

Neighbouring areas include Ebenezer, Kingsford and Lonsdale.

Typical renters

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

What to expect when you book

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

What we need from you

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
