What to expect

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

Booking with CarmaCars

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Renting: the basics

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
