When it makes sense

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Why this way of renting

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. We answer questions before you book, not only after. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Requesting a car

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What to have ready

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
