Car Rental in Alpine, NY

Renting with CarmaCars in Alpine

This page is for Alpine, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. In short: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The deposit is never taken at booking, only shortly before pickup.

Honest about Alpine

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Alpine is outside the area we serve. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Alpine is about 262 km away.

If your trip starts in the Toronto area, we can have a car ready for the drive. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. Questions about Alpine? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Reasons people rent from us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Alpine and nearby

The pages for Wildwood Mobile Home Park, Alpine Junction and Cayuta cover the areas next door.

The airport closest to Alpine is Elmira/Corning Regional Airport, about 22 km away.

When it makes sense

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Checking your details

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Booking with CarmaCars

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

One more step

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
