Worth knowing

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

Common reasons to rent

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

Before you rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
