Worth knowing

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You can rent again later with the same account and details. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser.

Requirements

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

The steps

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

One more step

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
